Energy Efficient

The Main Features of Energy Efficient Windows and Sliding Glass Doors:

Frame Materials

The Vinyl low maintenance and durable framing material helps to insulate your home and reduce heat transfer.  Vinyl frames will not chip, or fade, and are flexible as your house shifts.

Multiple Panes

Two panes of glass, with gas filling the center, insulate much better than standard single pane windows.  With two panes of glass you are able to reduce sound as well..

Low-E Glass

Low-E stands for low emissivity.  This glass has a special coating reflecting infrared light, keeping heat inside in the winter and outside in the summer.  This glass also reflects ultraviolet light which can protect furniture and wood floors inside from fading.

Argon Gas Filled

In between the panes of glass, windows should have argon gas, odorless, colorless, non-toxic gas that insulates.  This argon gas is why no heat or cold will enter or exit through your windows and sliding glass doors.

Spacers

Spacers keep the glass panes a certain distance apart, they also insulate the edges of the window to reduce heat transfer.  The window is only as good as the spacer that keeps the seal tight so that the argon gas stays inside the panes of glass for insulation.

This is why you will say...WhataWindow!
